Very similar to the first only with the ability to same as the same character. Felt shorter too. And the last level didn't make us want to die. All in all good co-op fun and very pretty and charming. But having 2 people both be the wizard does break a lot of the game and make it too easy.

Much improved over the original. Plot holes patched nicely. And there's now a feeling of accomplishment and (maybe even) success. But the star child still sucks...

Wow...just...wow. Can't recommend that one enough. The very textbook definition of short but sweet. barely 2 hours long but every second was magical, gorgeous and unforgettable. Anyone who doesn't own a ps3, get one and this.

Also, 60% backlog completion. Win win.

Way too seriously serious

Lazy console port, but still lots of force pushing lightsabre chopping fun

Very short. And quite hard. But a very sweet game from an indie developer. Good to see more and more awesome indie games popping up everywhere. Nice to give it to the machine too.

Very awesome and atmospheric with lots of tension. Feelings of silent hill and ico. Genuinely upsetting and unnerving at times too

good shit. came together well at the end with a nice variety of melee and ranged weapons and an interesting twist on the zombies. buggy as hell though...lan doesnt actually work. But an awesomely huge world with sweet scenery and lots to do. Co-op very ell implemented too. Saves everything on both sides

Another one left by the wayside. Only 8 years ago this time. But finally finished. Although I could remember none of what I had done in it 8 years ago... Still classic Paper Mario action. Charming and funny and lots of fun.

Max's long awaited return was powerful and awesome. But not quite the same. More cover and less jumping around. More cinematic, less theatric. Rockstar did a goob job, but its hard to see the influence Remedy left apart from Max's poetic musings. And the theme

Final Rock Band game! Yay! This one seem was a lot more crazy fun that the usual, and the short song option was nice. Lots of cool LEGO references too. Good shit.

Good old fashioned rock Band fun. With so much ball tripping..

Fantastic stuff. Motion plus gives better sword control. Challenging yet satisfying and only occasionally annoying. Only minor drawback is the lack of variety of areas. Visited the same 3 main places twice each. Apart from that 1 minor quibble, a fantastic game. and provided great starts to and explanations of most of the long running Zelda traditions.

Saturday, 19 May 2012

Good co-op fun. Until the last level...which was just pure sadism. Apart from that, very nicely produced. Pretty visuals (if a little busy at times) and good mechanics. Even though the thief was pretty much useless.

Thursday, 17 May 2012

Lubriciously difficult in some parts. But still a lot of swingy shooty action.

Monday, 14 May 2012

99% identical to its predecessor. But still had enough new parts to keep it interesting. As well as a much needed checkpoint system. Apart from that, the same old tape or die co-op awesomeness

Monday, 7 May 2012

700th game finished milestone! Also very very close to 60% total completion. Sweet.

As far as this game goes...I think I preferred seasons. It was more actiony. This one was fun, but a bit strange. It pulled a lot of races, characters and settings from Hyrule (that really shouldnt be in Labyrnia) and specifically from Ocarins of Time. Possible because both the Oracle games were released not long after Ocarina of Time so they wanted to cash in on it a bit with familiar aspects. The linking system is clever though. A lot of actions carried over and characters remember you and such and linking the 2 games provides a better "Real" ending.

Only 1 proper Zelda game left now. The most recent Skyward Sword. Probably wont bother with the knock off CD-I games or the BS snes remakes. But may do some of the Tingle spin offs...time will tell. They do look interesting.

Sunday, 6 May 2012

Lots of madcap super pong fun. But mentally and physically draining

Saturday, 5 May 2012

Much worse than we expected... Was expecting Army of Two with swords and much worse. But it had its moments. And a lot of technical and polish issues such as clipping, bad lip syncing, awful camera, lack of checkpoints. Could have been a lot more

Wednesday, 2 May 2012

Another long forgotten game thrown to the wayside what was probably over 10 years ago finally finished. Feels good. The game itself is a little strange...feels like Link's Awakening...but is not Link's Awakening...it uses the same engine but is upgraded with colour and such and a whole new world and story. But still uses a lot of common items, graphics, environments and enemies. Game itself was fun enough but quite annoying in some parts. Lacked the polish and balance of a pure Nintendo Zelda game I'd say. Still a fine addition to the series though.
