Can't get enough God of War. Game mechanics and combat remain as amazing as ever. Although this one had no extra weapons, just "effects" for your blades. Most of which weren't of much use so your weapon selection felt quite limited. But there was also more combat options available. Visuals look even more gorgeous and epic as the games go along. However, there were one or 2 camera glitches in places that halted progress as well as a few other minor glitches here and there. Which is odd, because there have been 5 God of Wa games before it with nary a glitch, blemish or problem to see between all of them. And the plot felt a bit...inconsequential. Battling a few weird god servants is not on quite the same scale as murdering actual gods. And titans. But despite that, the 2nd half of the game definitely picked up the pace and ramped everything up to make a satisfying ending that leads into the first God of War.

But I can't help but feeling that too much time was put into the stupid waste of time (now seemingly mandatory for all games) multi-player mode. And this took focus away from and hurt the main campaign. Same as with Crysis 3. Seems to be an increasingly common problem. Multi-player must die. Give us back our single player games!
