So very pretty. Amazing art direction like the previous Bioshocks. But unfortunately, like the previous Bioshocks, the art direction was probably it's greatest strength. Flying around on roller coasters is a lot of fun. And it's nice to have an escort partner who is actually useful for once. But...I do not think this is deserving of the massive hype and praise. Yes, it was very good. But not as amazing as all the reviews have been saying. Most of the mechanics, enemy types, weapons, etc very really just renamed carbon copies of those from Bioshock 1 and 2. And the salts are the plasmids. The story was interesting with a cool twist, but for over half of the game, it was just leading you on without telling you much so you spent a lot of it not knowing what the hell was going on. Definitely fun through and through and worth a play, especially if you played and/or liked the previous Bioshocks. But it did not live up to what I was expecting.
